A young reporter goes undercover in an underground, speakeasy-style strip club run by women to expose what she believes to be a sham of "faux feminism". Instead, she finds freedom in her sexuality and so much more about herself than she could have known.
Project:Girl is a film series inspired by true stories of girlhood. We collect and share the raw, honest, unfiltered moments that stick with us from our adolescence - the moments that come to define who we are as women.
We are working to create a library of stories that map out the female experience, normalizing what may seem “shameful” and creating conversation, with the ultimate goal of acknowledging and accepting all aspects of what it means to be female-identified.
